- keyboard! -- As it turns out, it may only be the top case (keyboard part) of my laptop that's messed up, as with this external keyboard from a kind friend, it's actually pretty usable. Game plan: use it for a few weeks (to make sure the logic board isn't corroding; so said the Apple Genius Bar guy) then just replace the top case (fingers crossed that'll fix it!).
lesson learned - Padmanadi -- I've written about this vegetarian fake meat place before; it's definitely grown on me. I had some pretty meat-like beef rendang when we made it out for a resident lunch last week.
looks like meat, tastes like meat, is...tofu? it's confusing (but delicious) - radiobiology -- We wrote our exam, so that's one thing out of the way. Actually, it wasn't a bad course; we learned about interesting things like:
now you know (from the radiobiology bible, Hall) - Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum -- Smell = amazing. Efficacy = questionable.
but no one really needs this in Edmonton -- the only upside to dry air is defrizzing action - bright mornings -- It's been surprisingly light out these mornings on my walks to work (partially because I leave late...but perceptibly, the days are getting longer!).
also, winter's back :(

Weekend Review: Laptop Workaround, Padmanadi, & Radiobiology
I've been missing out a bit on posting, thanks to last weekend's coffee + laptop escapade, so just wanted to catch up a little with a look back at things I've appreciated in the past week...
